The IVR requires you to speak or enter your patient's name during the eligibility and claim status authentication process. This IVR name and number conversion tool was created to assist those provider offices that wish to key the beneficiary's name rather than speak it. Simply type the beneficiary's name, press the convert button and the name will be converted to the number that is required by the IVR. Please reference the IVR Guide for more detailed information.

Helpful Hint: Print this page and place it in your patient's record to reference the next time you call the IVR.

Please note: You now are required to only key the first 6 letters of the last name plus first initial when entering the patient's name into the IVR.  The calculator below will automatically shorten the name for you if necessary.
